DynaLoc Type 3 Day Box Explosive Storage Magazine, Aluminum – AEL511

The Justrite DynaLoc AEL511 Type 3 Aluminum Day Box is a portable Type 3 Explosive Storage Magazine that provides strong and secure short-term transport of explosives and ammunition. The AEL5111 is designed to meet and exceed ATF 27 CFR Part 555 and OSHA 29 CFR requirements. The magazine’s superior 2-layer construction resists fire, weather, and unauthorized access for secure storage and peace-of-mind.

The magazine is constructed of 0.10 aluminum lined with 1/2" non-sparking plywood to reduce the risk of accidental ignition and support a safer storage environment. Its top-opening lid allows efficient loading and unloading. With interior dimensions of 8.5 x 13.5 x 16.5 inches, and weighing just 24 lbs. empty, the AEL511 provides excellent portability with Type 3 protection. For added security, it features a welded lock hasp.

Exterior and interior surfaces of the AEL511 are protected with a modified phenolic alkyd resin base coat and an acrylic alkyd enamel topcoat. This high-performance finish ensures chemical resistance and provides protection against abrasion, corrosion and UV damage.
