Many States Have Updated Code Regulations on Flammable
Cabinets. You May No Longer be Compliant Based on Your State.

What has changed?
The new specification calls for a safer, flammable cabinet with self-closing doors that shut automatically in case of a fire.
Why the change?
A flammable cabinet with open doors provides no fire mitigation benefit.
In a fire, it is a safety hazard for a person to try and close the doors.
Self-closing cabinets ensure doors latch properly.
Justrite's 3-Step Self-Close System
Reliable and effective flammable liquid storage for safety and compliance. In a fire, the safety cabinet's
innovative three-stop system activates and securely contains the contents within the cabinet

Fusible Link
This thin metal strip will melt if the cabinet temperature reaches approximately 165°F (74°C).

Enclosed Sequencer
Once the fusible link melts, the door springs trip and the door forces shut with inertia.

Latch Engagement
After the spring has forced the door
shut, a latch engages, ensuring the door remains securely closed.
