Eagle Deep Space Saver Safety Cabinets are designed to provide safe storage for flammable and combustible liquids in environments where floor space is limited. These cabinets feature a compact design of 48 gallons, measuring 65 inches in height and 23.25 inches in width, making them ideal for placement alongside larger safety cabinets or in areas such as labs, R&D rooms, garages, and machine shops.
Constructed with welded, 18-gauge steel double-walls and 1.5 inches of insulating air space, these cabinets offer superior fire resistance and compliance with NFPA and OSHA regulations. They include a three-point self-latching door system, a 2-inch leakproof sump, and dual vents with integral flame arresters. The built-in grounding connector ensures proper grounding to reduce static buildup. The cabinets feature galvanized steel shelves that direct spills to the back and bottom of the sump, meeting EPA requirements. Highly reflective Haz-Alert warning labels provide visibility under fire conditions or during power outages.
Deep Space Saver Safety Cabinet are available in yellow or gray, and with manual or self-closing doors. Self-closing doors are a critical safety feature, offering enhanced protection against fires and accidental releases. These doors automatically close and latch in the event of a fire or emergency, using fusible links that melt at 165°F (74°C), causing the doors to shut automatically. This feature minimizes human error by ensuring that the cabinet is always properly closed, even when staff are distracted or forgetful. While manual closing doors are available, self-closing doors provide the safest option, especially in environments where safety is paramount.

Sturdy Cabinet Construction
Sturdy 18-gauge (1 mm) double wall steel fully welded (not riveted) construction with 1.5-in of insulating air space provides greater protection in a fire since air gaps are reduced. The fully-welded construction also holds squareness for a longer lifespan.
Corrosion Resistance
The durable, UV and chemical resistant, lead-free powder-coat paint finish inside and out helps retain the high gloss look and minimizes the effects of corrosion and humidity.
Durable Door Hinges
All cabinet doors feature a continuous piano hinge to ensure smooth closure and even weight distribution, which makes it easier to open and close.
Innovative Door Features

Patented SpillSlope® shelves are slightly sloped to direct spills to the back and bottom of leakproof sump. The shelves meet ANSI standards of 350 lbs. safe allowable loads. Welded shelf hangers interlock with shelves to offer safe, maximum non-slip stability without flimsy brackets, that adjusts on 3 inch centers.

Prevent Unauthorized Use
Easily secure and protect your chemical contents with the flush U-Loc ™ handle that can be locked with included keys or accept a padlock for greater security. U-Loc handles do not require manual rotation to engage the mandatory 3-point latch.
