Description

The Justrite DynaLoc Type 4 Outdoor Explosive Storage Magazine in Red – Model EL301, is designed for the secure, compliant storage of low explosive materials outdoors. The magazine offers a blend of robust construction and user-centric features designed to meet and exceed ATF 27 CFR, Part 555 requirements.

Constructed from hand-welded 12 gauge steel and featuring a non-sparking 1/2" plywood interior, the magazine ensures a safe storage environment. Its robust design includes bottom feet offset for seamless use with forklifts or low-profile pallet jacks, facilitating easy movement and placement.

EL301 features a front-opening door with hinges on the left side secured by a cam lock door handle, along with two locking hasps with a theft-deterring security hood to prevent unauthorized access. The double locking door feature, with hinges and hasps securely welded, ensures that these components cannot be tampered with or removed when the doors are locked. Ideal for the long-term outdoor storage of low explosives, this magazine also includes a short overhang to protect its contents from excess rain exposure and gravity airflow vents with steel hoods, ensuring proper ventilation and natural draft.

The exterior and interior surfaces are protected with a high-performance coating system, comprising a modified phenolic alkyd resin base coat and an acrylic alkyd enamel topcoat. This finish ensures chemical resistance inside and offers protection against abrasion, corrosion, and UV damage externally.

The Justrite DynaLoc Type 4 Outdoor Explosive Storage Magazine EL301 is perfect for a variety of applications, including the storage of black powder, ammunition, and fireworks/pyrotechnics.

Note: High and low explosives that are placed in outdoor magazines should have a grounding system according to the NFPA 70 National Electrical Code standard. Grounding protects the magazine and its contents against lightning strike, and it will need to be properly grounded by a licensed electrician. For more information, please refer to NFPA.
