Pedestal-mounted eye/face wash units, designed at ANSI-compliant height, are generally located in open areas away from walls. Choose from either galvanized or stainless steel pipework. For cold climates with a minimum ambient operating temperature of -4°F (-20°C) or above, use freeze protected models which are trace-tape heated and insulated.
Pedestal-mounted eye/face washes are suitable for use in both Class 1 Division 2 hazardous areas (as well as non-hazardous areas), meet ANSI and EN 15154 standards, and support OSHA requirements. These wash stations are easy to activate – simply push the red hand sign on open bowl models or pull down the lid on covered bowl models. Add an optional foot treadle for a secondary means of activation.
