2 Gallon, Wash Tank With Basket for Small Parts Cleaning, Self-Close Cover with Fusible Link, Steel, Yellow - 27812

Use this sturdy, safe, and easily portable 2 gal (8 L) wash tank (model 27812), made of 24-gauge steel, to simply dip and rinse parts with combustible liquid solvents. A parts basket (model 27902) comes with the wash tank for cleaning smaller parts. A wash tank is particularly useful for volumes of work that do not warrant a larger rinse tank or a single large part. 

This wash tank has an exterior height of 11.25 in (28.6 cm) and an outer diameter of 11.375 in (28.9 cm). Model 27812 is yellow and weighs 7.2 lb (3.3 kg). It is FM Approved and TUV Certified. 

Safely cleaning parts are required across a wide variety of manufacturing, maintenance, repair, construction and lab sites including, but not limited to the steel, automotive, airline, agriculture, food, paper, and chemical industries.

To use, fill the wash tank with your cleaning solvent of choice, then place items in the parts basket. Use the handle to dip the basket into the wash tank, and remove it when done cleaning and rinsing. 

Take note that the parts basket fits wash tanks and dip tanks with the same dimensions. However, the liquid capacities for the wash tanks and dip tanks differ because of the liquid displaced by the basket. Wash tank covers stay open for convenient access during cleaning operations. Always keep tanks closed when not in use. For added safety, there is a self-closing mechanism and fusible link that melts at 165°F (74ºC) to snap the cover shut in case of fire.
