DynaLoc Type 2 Cap Box for Explosives, Red - EL481

The Justrite DynaLoc Type 2 Cap Box Model EL481 provides strong and secure indoor storage for blasting caps, detonating primers, and primed cartridges. The EL481 offers superior 2-layer construction for peace-of-mind and is designed to meet and exceed ATF 27 CFR Part 555 and OSHA 29 CFR requirements. It resists fire and unauthorized access.

The box is constructed of 12-guage steel lined with 1/2" non-sparking plywood to reduce the risk of accidental ignition and support a safer storage environment. Its top-opening lid allows efficient loading and unloading. For added security, the EL481 features a welded lock hasp cover. With interior dimensions of 17 x 15.5 x 15 inches, this cap box provides ample explosive storage yet still retains portability. Grounding is not required.

Exterior and interior surfaces of the EL481 are protected with a modified phenolic alkyd resin base coat and an acrylic alkyd enamel topcoat. This high-performance finish ensures chemical resistance and provides protection against abrasion and corrosion.

Applications
