Made of flame retardant polyethylene, it measures 38 in (965 mm) in height and 12 in (305 mm) in outer diameter. It holds up to 4 gallons (15 l) of cigarette litter and weighs 8.1 lbs (3.7 kg). Add either a brick or sand inside for extra stability in windy weather.
The innovative oxygen-restricting design of the Elite Smoker’s Ceasefire extinguishes cigarette butts effectively and safely. The large head of model 268502 not only dissipates heat from butts, but also keeps the rain out to avoid any overflow in bad weather conditions. Its long internal neck cavity minimizes clogging to let thousands of butts reach the galvanized steel bottom with ease.
The patented inner double-drip edge directs most tar condensation into the pail, keeping the outside housing free from ugly tar buildup. For extra convenience, use the optional disposable bucket liners (model 26827) within the removable steel pail, then twist-tie close and throw away for minimal maintenance and ease.
A stainless steel perforated snuffer (suitable for both cigarettes and cigars) provides an easy target for smokers to drop their butts into, meaning less mess on your property.
Model 268502 has a limited entry design on its opening to discourage other waste from being thrown in. But it is also large enough that smokers can avoid contact with the ashtray, leading to less chance of transferring germs or dirt.
Maintenance is simple with no tools required. Self-aligning tabs easily glide along the lid, making it easy to open and close. Integrated tabs on this outdoor ashtray allow for optional padlocking (model 268506) for added security and to discourage unauthorized access/trash. For greater stability in extreme weather, attach the optional Anchoring Cable Kit with Padlock (model 268505 to the eyelets on the base of the ashtray.
